My responsibilities are explained below:
I have experience of working in the Rebuild Project GGLF1 of 450 T/D production of Sheet Glass Furnace Line 1 at Ghani Float Glass LTD.
I work there in the erection of cross fired regenerative furnace.
1. Refractory Installation.
2.Blowers ducting and piping.
3. Equipment and instrument installed in the area of furnace i.e. Flow meters, manual valves & control valves etc.
4.Combustion Natural gas and HFO piping Line tracing.
5. Installation of dual fuel low NOx Burners.
6. Bubbler System Installation on the Furnace bottom.
7.Batch Charger Installation.
Operation Experience of Furnace Line-2 on Glass Float Glass Limited.
1.Controlling the furnace parameters temperature, pressure and glass level in the furnace.
2.Optimum utilization of furnace heating fuel i.e. Natural gas or Furnace Fuel oil by keeping temperature profile of the furnace.
3. Ensure melting , refining and homogenization of glass.
4.Preventive maintenance of furnace auxiliaries which includes Blowers, Flue Dampers , Swirl Damper & burners.
5.Preventive maintenance of all pumps installed at furnace.
6.Repair of furnace body by masons .
7.Checking of all steel structure installed on furnace etc.
8. Sound knowledge of safety regarding use of PPE, Permit to general work , Hot work permit , Confined space work permit, & EHV equipment work permit etc.
9. Directly reporting to Dy Manager Furnace and indirectly to Plant Manager and General Manager.

Worked in the quality assurance laboratory and terminal operations.
I have done following experiments in this laboratory according to ASTM methods and specifications set
By PSQCA on petroleum products PREMIUM MOTOR GASOLINE (MOGAS/PMG), HSD (High speed diesel),
and FFO ( FURNACE FUEL OIL):
 Specific gravity test on MOGAS/PMG, HSD, FFO by hydrometer
 RVP ( Reid Vapour Pressure) test on PMG
 Flash point test on HSD and FFO
 Cloud point test on HSD
 Pour point test on HSD and FFO
 Distillation test on PMG and HSD
 Water Content test on FFO BY Dean and Stark Apparatus
 Colour Comparator test on HSD
 RON ANALYZER (ZELTEX Inc.) test on PMG
 Detection test (Ethanol) on PMG

I worked there as Internee Engineer in the production department.
